Description

Nos 26, 28A, and 28B on St Michael's Lane are buildings from the 18th century, possibly from the 17th century. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with rubble behind and feature a pitched pantile roof. The buildings are two stories tall with attics. There is a projecting stone chimney breast at the south end. No 26 has two casement windows with glazing bars, one planked door, and one attic dormer with casements and glazing bars. No 28 includes a 19th-century red brick extension that is not listed, which extends towards the street. No 28 was formerly known as the Phoenix Public House.
