Description
Nos 26 and 30 on High Street in Long Crendon are 17th and 18th century buildings. They are two storeys high and constructed of colour washed rubble, with a brick gable to the south featuring a diaper pattern. The buildings have a thatched roof and a brick stack at the south end with two diamond-shaped shafts.
On the first floor of No 26, there are four small leaded casements. The entrance door is flanked by three-light leaded casements. No 28 has a two-light wooden casement with a door on the left side. Beyond No 28, there is a lower extension that has one storey and an attic, featuring a timber-framed gable and a half hipped thatched roof, with two two-light casements facing the street and a leaded casement in the gable. The rear wing has painted weatherboard walls and a thatched roof. No 30 is a small stone cottage located in the garden.
