Description

This building is a cottage, originally a barn, located 12 metres east of Manor Farmhouse in Steepleton Village. It dates from the 18th century and has been refashioned in the 20th century. The cottage features rubble-stone walls with brick in the south gable and has a thatched roof with gable ends. There is a brick stack at the south gable. The structure is one storey high and has two windows, which are 2-light iron casements with lead lights from the 20th century. Additionally, there are two plank doors, also from the 20th century.
