Description

28 Cheap Street is a building dating from 1625, located on the southwest side of Cheap Street. It is a former premises that was occupied by P J Shaw. The structure features a 2-storey stone ashlar front with two windows, typical of the 18th to early 19th century style. It has a moulded cornice and a slate roof, along with two box dormers. The first floor has sash windows that are four panes wide, complete with moulded frames. The ground floor has a modern plate glass shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even).
