Description

No 34 on Cheap Street is a building dating from 1625, with elements from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a two-window front, two storeys, and an attic, topped with a plaintile roof and two dormers. The front is roughcast, and the first floor has sash windows with flush frames. There is an inserted shop front, and on the right side, there is an early 19th-century doorcase with a pediment, fluted pilasters, and angle blocks, along with well-crafted moulded panels on the door and its reveals. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even).
