Description

39 and 39A Cheap Street is a building dating from 1840, previously serving as a butcher's shop and still owned by the same family. The structure has two storeys and features three windows along with one boxed dormer. It has a slate gabled roof and a moulded parapet, with an ashlar front. The entrance to no 39A on the left is a modern glazed door with a wide fanlight, while the right side has a modern plate-glass shop front for Parsons. This building is part of a group that includes nos 29 to 53 (odd) and no 53A.
