Description

Tonmore House, located at 40 Cheap Street, dates from 1625 and features a front that is either from the 18th century or early 19th century. The building is two storeys high and has chamfered quoins. It is topped with a parapet that has moulded stone coping. The front is finished in stucco, and the first floor has sash windows that are four panes wide. The ground floor has been altered and now includes two shop fronts. Tonmore House is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even).
