Description
Woodyhyde Farm House is a detached farmhouse that likely dates from the 18th century, with a front range added in the 19th century. It features rubble stone walls and brick dressings in the front range, while the walls of the rear ranges are partly plastered. The building has a stone slate roof and brick end stacks, with an L-shaped plan and two storeys. The entrance includes a flush panel door with a fanlight above it. Both the ground and first floors have two casement windows with glazing bars. The rear ranges are lower, and there is a lean-to extension at the end of the rear wing. One of the ground floor rooms contains a built-up bread oven, while another ground floor room has a small charcoal oven located by the fireplace.
