Description
Haycraft is a detached cottage with origins dating back to the 17th century, which was enlarged in the 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with stone end stacks, one of which has been raised in brick. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high. A 20th-century conservatory is attached to the front wall, and there is a part-glazed door from the same period. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars and one 20th-century window. The first floor has three casement windows with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a wing that is one storey and an attic, which includes a pent-roofed dormer and a stone stack. Inside, some ground floor rooms feature stop-chamfered ceiling beams, and there is one large open fireplace that has been partially built up.
