Description

This is a road bridge over the River Frome, located 250 metres east of Muckleford Farmhouse. It was built in the early 19th century and is constructed of brick, featuring brick parapets and end pedestals, with stone copings. The bridge has three segmental arches, with the central arch being higher than the others, all resting on stone bases. There are stone cutwaters on the upstream side. This bridge is a modest but complete example of its type.
