Description

No. 7 North Street is an 18th-century building, rendered in stucco with a pitched slate roof. It is two storeys high, featuring a moulded wooden eaves cornice. A late 19th-century shop front projects on the right-hand side, incorporating a canted bay window. It has two part-glazed doors; the right-hand door has a pent roof supported by cut brackets, while the left-hand door is set within a contemporary surround featuring vestigial pilasters, elaborate cut brackets, and a moulded flat hood with a panelled soffit. A lozenge shape is positioned between the brackets. A contemporary bay window with curved ends, sash windows, and glazing bars is also present. Two 19th-century sash windows are located on the first floor. Nos. 5 to 17 (odd) form a group.
