Description
11 Gold Hill is a building dating from 1615, located on the east side of Gold Hill. It is a 2-storey structure with a 2-window front, partly built in a style that predates the perpendicular period. The walls are made of coursed rubble with a slurry finish, and there is a deep string course at the first floor level. The windows are wooden casements with 2 and 3 lights, featuring small panes. The roof is covered with plaintiles, and the gable end was formerly tile-hung. The entrance features a central wooden boarded door.
This building is part of a group with Nos 7 to 17, along with the Park Wall and the stone setts and gutter.
