Description
21 Canon Street is a building dating from around 1710, located on the east side of Canon Street. It is a two-storey structure made of red brick, featuring a moulded cornice above a low parapet and a slate roof. The building has three sash windows with glazing bars. There is a one-storey extension at the front, likely from the 19th century, which has three round-headed openings, although one of these is blocked. An impost string course runs above the openings. To the left of the extension, there is a sash window with glazing bars, and to the right, a round-headed doorway with a traceried fanlight and a six-panel door. The extension to the right is not included in the listing. The buildings numbered 17 to 22, along with the Priory and Walls, form a cohesive group of architectural interest.
