Description

This is a two-storey building comprising numbers 16 and 17 Gold Hill. Likely dating from the 17th or early 18th century, it was re-fronted in brick and colourwashed. The building is detached from other structures but forms part of a wider group. The roof is covered with old plain tiles to the gable ends, with slates and gabled dormers to the rear. The windows are casement types, some with lead glazing, and sit above a stone plinth. A one-bay addition has been made to the right-hand end of number 17; a lean-to stone rubble annexe has been added to the left-hand end of number 16. Numbers 7 to 17 (inclusive) form a group with Park Wall and stone setts end gutter.
