Description

Nos 2 and 4 St James Street are a pair of cottages located on the south side of St James Street. No 2 is a stone rubble cottage from the 18th century, while No 4 is from the 19th century. No 2 is a single-storey building on the road side and features a casement window with lead glazing and a thatched roof. In contrast, No 4 has a slate roof and is two storeys tall, with two 2-light casements on the upper floor and one 2-light casement on the ground floor. The ground floor also includes a six-panel door, where the top two panels have been cut away and glazed. There is a brick addition at the back of No 4.
