Description

Alcester House is a building dating from 1615, located on the north-west side of Bimport. It is of mid-19th century or later construction. The north-east front features two storeys and three windows, built from ashlar stone. The roof is slate and hipped, with overhanging eaves. The windows have segmental heads and keystones, and there are no glazing bars. A prostyle porch with a moulded cornice and blocking course leads to a round-headed doorway. The building has two bays that face south-east onto the street, with a lower two-storey extension to the west. The stairs are prominently visible in the street scene.
