Description

The Stables and Coach House, located 5 metres north of Askerswell House, dates from the mid-19th century. It features rubble-stone walls and patent clay tile roofs with stone gable copings. The building is 1½ storeys high, with the coach house on the left side, which has a segmental-arched entrance. Above this entrance is a loft door with a pediment that projects above the eaves. To the right is the stable, which has a central plank two-leaf door, with pivoted sash windows on either side. There is also a loft door above the stable's entrance, which is similarly pedimented.
