Description
The front boundary walls and gates to The Court are from the mid-18th century. The main boundary wall is made of brick and sweeps up at the outer ends, topped with carved stone eagles. In the center, there are ornamental iron gates. Wing walls extend from each end of the central block of the house, connecting to the front wall. To the left of this feature, the main garden boundary wall, which is set back slightly, extends to the river and includes brick piers. To the right of the central feature, the main boundary wall continues at a higher level, featuring another ornamental iron gate that leads into the courtyard in front of the right wing of the house.
