Description

The Old Cottage is a 17th-century house located in Okeford Fitzpaine. It features a timber frame with whitewashed, rendered panels and a rubble plinth. The cottage has a thatched roof with half-hipped ends and two brick stacks positioned partway along the ridge. It is one and a half storeys tall with irregular fenestration. The windows include two and three-light wooden casements with glazing bars. There is a rectangular 20th-century bay window on the left and a 20th-century glazed door situated under a tiled porch.
