Description
46 East Street is a 18th-century building that extends around the corner into Dean's Court Lane. It features brick walls and a tiled roof, standing two storeys tall. The ground floor includes a shop front, likely from the 19th century, framed by a classical surround. There is an entrance doorway with a modern glazed door, also in a classical surround, which has a pedimented hood supported by brackets and reeded pilasters. A double hung sash window with glazing bars is present, along with a small shop window in a classical surround on the rounded corner. The first floor has three double hung sash windows with glazing bars. On the elevation facing Dean's Court Lane, the ground floor has two double hung sash windows with glazing bars, and there is one similar window on the first floor.
