Description
Nos 51A and 52 on King Street are 18th-century buildings with brick walls and a tiled roof featuring stone eaves courses and a brick dentil cornice at the eaves. The structure has two storeys, with the ground floor displaying a modern shop front and entrance door. On the first floor, there are three casement windows. The 19th-century extension of No 52 has a gable end facing the street, also with brick walls and a tiled roof. This extension rises to three storeys and an attic, with a ground floor that has a modern shop front continuous with the older section. Each of the first, second, and attic floors has one double-hung sash window, and there is an ornamental bargeboard on the gable. The buildings are now listed for their group value.
