Description

No. 26 Church Street is a two-storey building made of painted brick, dating from the early 19th century, though it likely incorporates elements from an earlier structure. It features eaves and a tiled roof. The first floor has four sash windows, which are complete but are modern copies. There are three similar windows on the ground floor. The building has a recessed doorway with a five-panel door, and a segmental arch above the doorway has been altered to create a new sash window. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 16 to 22 (even), the walling to the rear of Nos. 16, 18, and 20, and Nos. 26 to 34 (even), along with the walling between Nos. 32 and 34.
