Description

The Bell Hotel appears to date from the 19th century, though it may incorporate earlier fabric. It is a two-storey building with attics, featuring brick walls and a hipped tiled roof. The main elevation has a large pub window on the ground floor, accentuated by a classical cornice supported on console brackets. An original rounded corner entrance has been altered into a window. The first floor has two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, alongside a similar window on the corner above the original door. A dormer window provides access to the attic, boasting a hipped roof and old metal casements with lead lights. The north elevation, facing the yard, includes a door within a raised rendered surround and a double-hung sash window. Single-storey brick outbuildings are located at the rear.
