Description
The Barn at Lower Farm is a former barn that was converted into a house around 1975. It has origins dating back to the 18th century. The building features flint and brick walls with a thatched roof and includes one inserted brick chimney. It is a single-storey structure with a loft added at the right end and an attic at the left end. At the rear, there is a large hipped cast porch that has been partly infilled with a 20th-century window. The front elevation has 20th-century glazed doors and windows, while some old vent loops remain. The roof structure consists of simple tie and collar beams, which are exposed in certain areas.
