Description
No. 5 and Hambledon Cottage are a pair of cottages, likely built in the 18th century. No. 5, located on the left, features walls made of flint and brick banding, a hipped thatched roof, and a brick stack that it shares with Hambledon Cottage. The building has two storeys and includes a 20th-century lean-to extension on the left, constructed of flint and brick with a tiled roof. The ground floor has one ledged door and one 20th-century glazed door, along with a casement window with cast iron glazing. On the first floor, there are two similar windows. The main room on the ground floor boasts a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
