Description

Greenways Cottage is a building of probable 18th century origin located on Cowgrove Road in Pamphill. It features plastered walls and a thatched roof, with a brick stack that it shares with the adjacent No 511. The cottage is two storeys high, with the entrance located in the south wall. It has a ledged door set within a glazed timber porch that also has a thatched roof. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with lead lights, while the first floor has three similar windows. Inside, there is evidence of a blocked loft door in the upper part of the front wall, suggesting that the house may have originally served a non-domestic purpose.
