Description
West Winds is a building that likely dates from the 18th century. It features plastered walls, a thatched roof, and a brick stack. The structure is one storey with attics. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars, while the attic includes two dormers with similar casements. A single-storey lean-to on the west side has a corrugated iron roof, and there is a flat-roofed addition at the rear. Inside, the ground floor rooms display some exposed ceiling beams, and there is a large central stack, although the fireplaces have been built up. This building probably represents encroachment on common land.
