Description

Meadow View is a building that likely dates from the 18th century and was enlarged in the early 19th century. It features plastered walls, with the original house having a thatched roof, while the later extension has a slated roof. There is a brick stack present. The building is one storey high with attics and is positioned at right angles to the road. A part-glazed door is set within a timber porch that has a gabled slate roof. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. The attic contains two dormers; one is thatched and the other is slated with a gabled roof, both featuring casements similar to those on the ground floor. At the west end, there is a single-storey lean-to with a corrugated asbestos roof. The building is included for its group value.
