Description

Hyde Farm House is an 18th-century building that has been extended to the east and west, likely in the 19th century. It features brick walls and a thatched roof, with a brick parapet on the west gable and brick stacks. The house is two storeys tall. The ground floor includes a flush panelled door situated in a timbered thatched porch, along with a ledged door in the eastern extension. There are three casement windows with horizontal glazing bars on the ground floor, and evidence of a former door that has been blocked. The first floor has five casement windows with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to with a roof that is part thatched, part tiled, and part asbestos.
