Description

Cob Cottage is an 18th-century building located on Church Street in Shapwick. It features plastered walls built on a base of brick, stone, and flint, topped with a thatched roof and brick stacks. The cottage is one storey high with attics and includes a single-storey extension on the east side that is of similar construction. The entrance has a modern part-glazed door set within a rustic thatched porch. On the ground floor, there is one modern casement window with glazing bars and shutters, along with a similar window in the extension. The attic contains two dormers, each with similar casement windows.
