Description

No. 192 on Church Street in Shapwick is a late 18th century to early 19th century building. It features plastered walls with brick dressings and is set on a brick base. The roof is thatched and has a brick chimney. The building is two storeys high and has a modern brick porch with a tiled roof. The entrance has a part-glazed ledged door. Both the ground and first floors contain two casement windows that have horizontal glazing bars. At the rear, there is a weather-boarded lean-to with a tiled roof. Inside, the main ground floor room includes a large open fireplace with a timber lintel, which has been partially built up.
