9/50 Table Tombs c 10 metres north and east of Chideock Church

5 Table Tombs. (1) Immediately east of chancel. To Thomas Daniell, Steward of Chideock Manor. Stone with round-arch panels and modillions, 1668. Brass plate added 1885 by Sir F Weld. (2) To Henry Roper, d. 1780, with fluted pilaster corners and stone plinth. (3) To Giles Roper, d. 1814 with ogee-headed Indian-style pilaster corners and moulded top. (4) and (5) both early C19, overgrown and with illegible lettering.
