House, formerly mill house. C18, - appears of 2 builds. Brick walls, with dentil cornice at eaves, tiled roof. Brick end stacks with oversailing caps with dentil ornament. 2 storeys and attic. Panelled door in open timber porch with shallow segmental roof and moulded cornice. Straight joint left of this. In left section, ground and first floors each have 2 casements with horizontal glazing bars, under brick arches. Right of the door, ground floor has one sash with glazing bars. 2 similar sashes on first floor. Attic has 2 hipped dormers with casements with glazing bars. Ledged door at left end. At right end, a single storey attached outbuilding, with a pair of doors and a single ledged door, both with fanlights. Lean-to at rear, under slate catslide roof. (R.C.H.M. Monument 6.
