Description

The Old Mill House is a house that was originally part of a mill, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof. The symmetrical front, facing north, has two storeys and an attic, with three windows. The tile roof has coved plaster eaves, and the painted brickwork is laid in Flemish bond, with a first-floor band and rubbed flat arches. The ground floor includes sash windows and French windows, accompanied by narrow side panes. The wooden doorcase is adorned with a cornice supported by carved brackets, eared architraves, panelled reveals, and an eight-panelled door, two of which are glazed at the top. The attic features casement windows set in the coupled end gables.
