Description

Bidbury House is a late 18th-century house with 19th-century additions. It is constructed of brick with a tile roof. The symmetrical east front has three storeys and three windows, with a lower, single-storey wing to the south. The roof is hipped. The brickwork is in a Flemish bond, topped with a stone coping above a brick dentil band. The windows have rubbed flat arches and stone sills. The central first-floor window opening is now filled with a blue header panel. Sashes are set in reveals. There is a two-storey splayed bay on the south side, and a first-floor bay on the north side supported by Tuscan columns and sheltering a doorway. Above the panelled door is an arched fanlight incorporating sidelights. A later, single-storey extension has been added to the north side with an angular bay containing sashes.
