Description
The former watermill, located immediately northeast of Flour Mill House, dates from the early 19th century. It features brick walls and a slate roof with bargeboards at the verges. The building has two storeys and a loft. The elevation facing the road includes two ground floor casements with cast iron glazing set under gauged arches, and four similar casements on the first floor. The south gable end has a pair of part glazed ledged doors on the ground floor, with a part glazed door above it, which shows the remains of a loading platform. In the loft, there is one casement with cast iron glazing. On the west side, there is a brick wheel pit that contains the remains of a waterwheel.
