Description

The Castle Inn is an inn dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features plastered walls and a stone slate roof, with brick stacks at each end. The building has two storeys and an attic, and is marked by a gabled stone porch with an inner ledged door. Both the ground and first floors have two sash windows, each with a central glazing bar. The attic contains two hipped dormers, which have casement windows also featuring a horizontal central glazing bar.
