Description
The bothy located 10 metres west of Garden's Cottage is an early to mid-19th century structure. It features coursed rubble-stone walls and slate roofs with gable ends and wooden barge-boards. A brick stack is positioned at the east gable. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are cast-iron casements with glazing bars, wooden cills, and lintels, primarily consisting of two lights. On the left side of the ground floor, there are two-leaf plank doors with dressed stone voussoirs and a keystone. Additionally, there is a plank door entrance on the west gable end, framed in wood with a wooden lintel. The bothy backs onto the kitchen garden wall.
