Description

Charlotte Row is a house in a terrace, with a shop, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, located on the West side of the Esplanade in Weymouth. The building is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork, with a rendered return. It has a slate roof. The property is three storeys high. At the second floor are two four-pane sashes set within tumbled brick voussoirs. Beneath these is a flat, canted oriel window with plain sashes, a moulded cornice and a flat roof, and a deep skirt. The ground floor features a full-width shop front dating to the 20th century. A stone moulded cornice, blocking course, and parapet are present, returning to the gable stack on the left. The rear of the roof is hipped. The interior has not been inspected.
