Description

99 Cloudesley Road is a terraced house built around 1830, which has been altered for use as a shop. The building is constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond, with a roof that is obscured by a parapet. It stands three storeys high and features two windows. The ground floor includes a shop front, with part of it clearly dating from the late 20th century, while another part may be from the 19th or early 20th century, particularly the fascia. The first-floor windows are flat-arched with gauged brick heads and sashes that reflect the original design, while the second-floor windows are also flat-arched. The parapet has been rebuilt.
