Description
67 St Mary Street is a house with a shop, built in the early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork, some rendered walls, and a slate double mansard roof. The building has three storeys and an attic, with one window. There is a 6-pane sash flat-roofed dormer above an 8:12:8-pane sash bow oriel that has a dentil cornice extending across the full frontage, and it sits on a brick skirt in headers. Originally, the building had two or three storeys, but it now has a wide square late 19th-century flat-roofed bay with five panes and a transom, along with returns of one light. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front. The high blocking course with parapet is rendered. The right gable is also rendered and has two late 19th-century stacks. The back of the building, which is in brickwork, has a 6-pane dormer above a 4-pane sash window on the second floor, with varied fenestration and flat roof extensions below. The interior has not been inspected.
