Description

The war memorial located at the apex of Salisbury Road and the A350 is a tall stone cross set on a square plinth. It features the inscription: "To the Glory of God and in memory of those of the Parish of Cann who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918." This memorial is part of a group that includes War Memorials Nos 5 to 9 (odd), the premises of W Fanner and Sons, Sheerness Cottage, Cann Court, Knapp Villa, a dwarf wall, railings, gates, and gate piers.
