Description
This cottage, located 130 meters southwest of King's Post, dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and rendered cob with a thatched roof that has a half-hipped design on the right side. There is a brick stack at the left end. The building is one and a half storeys high and features a single window range with 2-light casements that have horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor right window is set within an earlier heavy timber surround. The central entrance is an original plank door framed in heavy timber.
Inside, notable features include a stop-chamfered ceiling beam and a chamfered timber fireplace bressummer with run-out stops.
