Description

This is a former brewery dating to around 1780, later converted into houses in the 1980s. The building has walls of plastered cob and a thatched roof, with a hipped roof at the right-hand end. It is two storeys high with attics. A projecting wing with a hipped roof is located at the rear of number 5. Numbers 3 to 6 have 20th-century glazed doors set within thatched lean-to porches. The entrance to number 7 is in the right-hand end wall. The ground and first floors contain 20th-century casement windows with leaded lights, primarily in the original window openings. Dormers with similar casements are visible in the attics. The building is included on the list for its group value.
