Description
No. 33-35 on West Street is a cottage located at the left end of a terrace, originally built as two separate cottages in the 18th century. The building features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with brick stacks at each end. The left section is single-storey and includes a ledged door and three casements with glazing bars, one of which is located in a later lean-to at the left end. The right section has two storeys and an attic. On the ground floor, there are two casements with glazing bars, one positioned under a relieving arch. The first floor also has two casements with glazing bars, while the attic features one gabled dormer with plain casements. This property is managed by the National Trust.
