Description
The building is a barn that has been converted into stables, dating from the 16th century. It has undergone significant alterations in the 19th century, featuring English bond brickwork with some chalk block lining. The structure includes an ashlar and rubble plinth, as well as ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is tiled with stone slate verges. There are central 19th-century plank doorways and the building is single storey with attics, which have vertical ventilator slits. The windows are 19th-century stone mullioned and transomed. Inside, there are 19th-century stalls at both ends. The building also has two original projecting bays at the ends, the purpose of which is uncertain.
