Description

Long Thatch is a house dating from the 16th century, with several additions and alterations made over the years. It is constructed of rubble, timber-frame, and render, and is whitewashed. The thatched roof features a brick stack along the ridge on the right side. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with five-light wrought-iron casements that include leaded lights.

Inside, notable features include an open fireplace with a chamfered bressummer, a chamfered ceiling beam, and an original two-bay roof with a collar-beam truss.
