Description
This is an 18th-century warehouse belonging to Home Appliance Services, located on Hamilton Place. The building features chequered brick construction, with rubble at the ground floor on the west end and a tarred west elevation. The east end has some slate-hanging, and the roof is pitched and covered with slate. The warehouse is two storeys tall.
The south elevation, which can be seen from behind the churchyard, has eight ranges of windows, mostly casements, with some featuring glazing bars. The west elevation includes one casement with glazing bars on the second floor. The east elevation, which serves as the entrance, has warehouse doors on both floors; the lower doors are modern, while the upper doors are accessed by a wooden external stair and balcony. There is also a winch hoist and one casement with glazing bars on this elevation.
The warehouse is part of a group that includes Nos 64 to 80 (even) and No 80A.
