Description

The warehouse belonging to Southern Appliances (Bridport) Limited is a building from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with some blue lias and features a pitched corrugated iron roof with coped gables on kneelers. The building has three storeys and includes four ranges of fixed windows. The ground floor has a central segmental arch with planked sliding doors. Above this, the first floor opening has been bricked up, while the second floor has planked double loading doors. There is a single-storey lean-to extension on the east side. The south elevation originally had an arcaded ground floor, which is now blocked, along with two ranges of modern windows and one range of planked loading doors.
