Description

Hillcrest, located at Ware Corner, is an early to mid 19th century pair of houses. The building has two storeys and features four window bays, with a dormer on the left-hand house, Hillcrest. The exterior of Ware Corner is stuccoed, while Hillcrest is made of painted brick. Both houses have a cornice and a pediment above each end window bay, along with an iron balconette on the first floor end windows. The original glazing bars are intact. There are modern porches, and a panelled door is located behind the porch of Hillcrest. This building has been shown on maps since at least 1841.
